Here is a post dedicated to my sweet baby girl. She has brought so much to our family and we love her so much. She has so many cute little quirks that make me laugh every day.

My pregnancy with Addy was an easy one. No sickness and I never threw up. That is unheard of in my family. My delivery was not the easiest but so worth it. I pushed for 3.5 hours and after doing everything we could to get her out, I was told my bones were too small and I would have to have a c-section. I can say I was positive during all the pushing, but when I heard this I was pretty bummed. By that point though, I was ready to do what I needed to. So they gave me more medicine and I was whisked away to the surgery room. I had MAJOR shakes and no one cared to tell me that that was normal with all the meds that were in me... so I was pretty freaked out by that. Before I knew it, I heard a screaming baby. I couldn't believe it. Her head was quite squished because she was stuck for so long. The gash on the side of her head came from my bones. So sad.

At first, Addy just wanted to party all night and not sleep, but by about 3 months she was sleeping through the night. The recovery wasn't too bad considering it I had it "the worst" as the nurses told me. I couldn't stay inside so we went on lots of walks those first few days at home. Here are just a few pictures from the last 8.5 months.

I love this girl so much. We spend all day everyday together. I couldn't ask for more. 

WE'RE BACK!!

OK..... so here is to try 100 for writing a blog. I am not going to make promises that I will keep up with it, because if anyone knows the history of my blogging.... you know I won't. Be here's to trying! I haven't blogged for over 18 months and A LOT has changed. We have a beautiful baby girl who is now 8 months and a lot of other fun updates. Here are a few....

*Matthew graduated from BYU in April '12

*Matthew did an internship for RPM and really loved the experiences he had there. He now works at Orange Soda an internet marketing firm. He will be quitting that job in August and attending BYU for his MPA. He is so excited to start school. He loves writing papers, reading, and learning. Maybe he can go to school as a profession?

*I taught my second and last year at Freedom Academy and LOVED my students. We had an amazing year. I miss them all so much.

*Had a baby girl in September 2012. She is a gem. I love being able to spend my days with her and watching her grow. It is hard to remember life without her. (My next post will be all pictures of her...can't get enough!)

*Matthew and I have added 3 nieces/nephews (one more coming on Wed!) on my side and one from Matthew's side.

*I have had so many friends have babies and we love spending time with all of them. 

Well there is a VERY quick update of our family. Hopefully I will be better at updating... but who knows! 

Since School Has Started

School has started and I have loved every bit. A new group of kids and they are all learning so quickly. My old kids come up and give me big hugs and make me feel like a million bucks. Matthew has started school and is loving all of his classes. He is taking 17 credits and working part time. Talk about hard worker! He's amazing! Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.

Matthew and I were helping some people in our ward move and we realized we would be late for our ward hike. We decided that we would see what time it was when we finished. We were about 30 minutes late when we decided to leave. We sped up to the hiking parking lot, luckily one of my old student's moms was there and let us in for FREE, and then we ran or walked fast the whole hike. We made it up there just in time to see all of our ward friends. It was a lot of fun!

On Labor Day the Taylor's were so nice to invite us up with them to Snowbird. We took the tram up to the top of a mountain and admired everything below. It was beautiful! We had a great time!

That night, we went on a bike ride to Bridal Veil Falls with my parents. It was a beautiful bike ride!

In the middle of our bike ride we had a picnic. It was delicious!

Another year of first grade!

I have checked off my first year of teaching and now I am moving onto my second. Last year was amazing and I have no doubt this year will be too! Here is a little glimpse of my classroom this year.

This is our friendship tree. We all put a few fingerprints onto it. Here comes another year of first grade!

Our outdoor weekend!

On Friday this week we went boating with Matthew's family. It was the first time I had been on his boat and it was so fun! We don't have any pictures of me in the water, but I promise that I went tubing and knee boarding. It was a blast! Thank you Taylor fam for inviting us to come along!

Matthew and his dad ended up having a fight on their knee boards. They both ended up in the water after Matt jumped off his Kneeboard and grabbed his dad in an epic battle win.

Kelly was so nice to get back in the freezing water to show us how to slalom ski. She was amazing!

Steve was amazing too! So much talent in one family.

On Saturday we went to Provo canyon and made smores with some friends from the ward. Matthew didn't realize that the marshmallow that he was eating was black. He looks mighty happy eating that mallow.

The Moline's are moving this week. *tear* We will miss them!

Steph is very excited to be eating her smore. Who wouldn't be? I think this should be a commercial picture.

What a fun weekend! Now the next question is... am I ready for school to start? I guess we'll find out!
